A Story Woven from Two Regions of Thailand
The journey begins in the serene wetlands of Kuan Khreng–Thale Noi, stretching across Nakhon Si Thammarat and Phatthalung, where resilient krajood (Lepironia sedge) grows wild and abundant. Here, the women of local fisherman villages hand-harvest each strand with care, continuing an age-old craft that provides sustainable income and preserves a cultural legacy.
The natural fibers then travel north to Chiang Mai, where skilled Lanna artisans transform them into modern, reusable handbags—each woven with intention, lined with soft Mueang Cotton, and finished with meticulously braided straps.
The result is a vessel that is not only beautiful, but deeply meaningful: a symbol of community, connection, and craft.
